The HEMATITA (or Hematite) is a strange rock, it is heavy, black and silver colour, although its real colour is red. Its name is a bit of a mystery.  In ancient Greece it was adored and called blood stone, since, if it is cut and then wet, the water turns red as blood.  It is said that it was applied on the wounds of the warriors to relieve their pain, and so it got scratches when rubbing them with a finger.  Connected with the Earth and the material World, it attracts energy, help to relax and to concentrate.  It prevents from bleeding and body diseases. It opens the crown and brows chakras.
