Jenny twin Roof Repair Clip

Sold in bags of ten pairs clips per bag suitable for repairing ten slates. The Jenny Clip is a simple and sturdy aluminium clip once fixed on to the slate will allow you to slide the slate back into position then the clip hooks on to the batten and can not be removed.

The Jenny Twin clips are secured by drilling or punching through the slate.  The tongue of the clip is then passed through the slate and bottom leg of clip and bent over. The slate is then laid flat on the roof and pushed into position.  Once the clip has passed the batten the swivelled tail will drop into place, securing the slate The clips can be seen located behind the batten, ensuring the slate remains permanently fixed in the correct location.

The main body forming the top and bottom leg of the Jenny Twin Clip is produced in one piece from 1.6mm aluminium sheet.  The swivelled tail is produced in one piece from 2.5mm diameter galvanised steel bar.

The Jenny Twin System is designed as a fixing method for isolated repairs where it is not possible for slates to be secured with nail fixings.

The system is suitable for use on all types of slate roofs where slates are fixed to open battens up to a maximum pitch of 70 degrees.

Slates repaired with the Jenny Twin System are maintenance free and is most circumstances will comply with the requirements of B.S.5534 Part 1 1997 Code of Practice for Slating and Tiling
